Student Council
The Student Council plays an active role in the running of the systems at a school. Its purpose is to serve as a meeting place for the Student body and the Administration, where the students assume responsibility of organizing various school activities. It is a forum where members are trained to conduct formal meetings and express themselves in a responsible manner. The Council promotes leadership and encourages students to initiate activities for general welfare of the School community.
In the true spirit of Democracy, names of probable candidates are suggested by the Mentors. The casting of votes, counting of the ballot boxes and declaration of results is all done in the presence of entire student body to ensure a free and fair election.
The nomination and election of Class Representatives is done within the classroom by voice vote conducted by the Class Mentors.
